Named after Aptos, California, the designer’s favorite coastal retreat, this collection of unique lighting and accessories combines the warm, inviting colors of Northern California’s rolling hills, redwood forests, and flourishing vineyards with classic, simple shapes. Our small team of artisans hand craft each piece here in our Richmond studio, and decorate the glass with a signature bubble pattern that evokes thoughts of California’s gurgling streams, and crashing surf. Coincidentally, the Native American meaning behind the collection’s namesake town has been traced to “where the waters meet.” The brilliance of hand blown glass meets the beauty of nature in the Aptos collection, as it was inspired by California’s coastline: where the rivers meet the Pacific Ocean.
